This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a reception on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, the press service of the Ukrainian presidential administration reported.
“For Ukraine, there is no reasonable alternative to a peaceful resolution of the crisis. Just as there is no other alternative instrument for achieving peace than the Minsk agreements. Ukraine has fulfilled the key provisions of the peace agreements. Ukraine, our European partners, and the whole world expect the same from the Russian side and their accomplices: not to play with agreements, but to implement them,” Poroshenko emphasized.
Let us recall that Petro Poroshenko has repeatedly stated that the DPR and LPR will not receive any special status in the Ukrainian Constitution. Ukraine also refuses to conduct direct dialogue with the Donbass republics.
