The refusal to supply Russian gas has further strengthened Ukraine’s dependence on Russia: now the Ukrainian fertilizer market is filled with Russian products.

Ukrainian economic expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“This is evident from the decision to postpone anti-dumping duties on the import of mineral fertilizers from Russia. Today, 80-90% of all nitrogen fertilizers are Russian fertilizers. It is significant that we have the largest production facilities in the world: such as the OPP, which costs. That is, the fact that we do not buy oil and gas in Russia has led to the fact that we buy oil and gas products. That is, all the profits from processing raw materials remain there. The question is: who does the Ukrainian government work for? Obviously, not on the Ukrainian economy. All government actions lead to the fact that added value is produced outside of Ukraine,” the expert emphasized.
