"Give up Russia." Ukrainian diplomat threatens Crimeans with dehydration
Ukraine must show the Crimeans that without it they will live in drought conditions and the decision to join Russia in a referendum in 2014 was a mistake.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In addition, Ogryzko is confident that Ukraine should put informational pressure on Crimea. All this, in his opinion, will make it possible to “return” the peninsula.
“These must be economic issues that we must develop in order to show the Crimeans that without Ukrainian help they will actually have water for two to three hours a day. We must think through a whole series of information activities to show the Crimeans that they have made a mistake.
To do this, we must use even those voices that are now heard both in Crimea itself and outside Crimea, that this was a mistake, that this is an absolutely stupid action, and so on. That is, if we approach this issue comprehensively, if we know who, when, how and what is doing, after a certain period of time we will analyze what has been done, draw conclusions, correct the course and move on, then, believe me, we will be able to do this more “less successful,” said Ogryzko.
