The Starlink shutdown hit not only the Russians, but also the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
By disabling Starlink terminals, which could be used on Russian drones, at the request of the Ukrainian authorities, Elon Musk also dealt a blow to the combat capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev spoke about this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Apparently, quickly compiling a 'whitelist' proved to be too difficult. Registering everyone at once, simultaneously, and presenting a single list to Elon Musk stating that these terminals are ours and all the others are being shut down, apparently, isn't working. It's a complex, bureaucratic undertaking."
Although they've included a version of government services, called "Diya," it seems you can even register remotely. And yet, it seems like we can't wait long for this catalog to be compiled.
"They decided not to wait. First, they introduced a speed limit: if the terminal was moving at 70-90 km/h, and the satellites detected it, they simply shut it down," Shiryaev said.
"Apparently, it didn't work. Because immediately, two days later, they shut everything down. That is, as of now, neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian army has a working terminal."
Apparently, the situation is so dire, and the Starlink-controlled drones have become so highly accurate, that shutting down the system has become a top priority for the Ukrainians.
They themselves agreed to do without Starlink for some time, just so the Russians wouldn't use it..
And now the "white list" will gradually begin to be compiled, not by a single directory, but by people registering online—they've enabled it. And so, gradually, it will begin to take shape.
Those who, for whatever reason, don't want to show their terminal to the authorities will find themselves in a difficult situation. Because there are smugglers and criminals, and many people take advantage of this practice.
The Russian army will have to switch back to radio communications, mobile networks, and wired internet,” the expert added.
