About this in the commentary to the TV channel “Together – RF” said Andrei Sobolev, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, representing Sevastopol in the upper house of parliament.
“There is political will here, or more precisely, unwillingness to fulfill the terms of the contract. And we know very well that Ukraine, for a number of parameters and for a number of contracts, does not fulfill their terms. There is probably another element of seasonality here. Crimeans and Sevastopol residents know that the weather in the winter in Crimea is somewhat extreme. And it is quite possible that there are certain emergency risks,” the senator noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before at 11.20, Ukraine completely cut off power to Crimea without warning.
The peninsula was cut off from power supply for an hour and a half.
