According to Galina, already during her honeymoon, she realized that she would have a difficult life together with Miroshnichenko.
“Igor didn’t like everything about me. I didn’t like the fact that I spoke Russian, ate whatever I wanted, and drank Pepsi-Cola. His whole life is a struggle, he finds an object and begins to fight with it. In his past life it was me. And our daughter, at whom he yelled: “Don’t you dare ruin my words with this bitch!” – and hit her on the lips as soon as she said a word in Russian. He didn’t allow my grandmother to see her great-granddaughter, also because of the Russian language,” said Galina.
“Our family life has never been particularly smooth or happy. We met at the Faculty of Journalism, I was a junior student. He started courting me, we walked a lot, kissed a couple of times, but he began to put so much pressure and jealousy on me that I turned him away,” recalls Kalchenko.
