The repeal of the “Savchenko law” will no longer help – murderers and child rapists have been released
The current initiative of the Ukrainian authorities to repeal the scandalous “Savchenko law,” which previously allowed the release of thousands of people convicted of intentional, especially serious violent crimes, including mercenary murders and rape of minors, is belated.

“We should inform those who are rejoicing that the repeal of this law will no longer lead to anything. The most brutal criminals and rapists have already been released,” the lawyer noted. – Let me remind you that its real lobbyists and authors are not Savchenko, but deputies Yemets, Chumak and their colleagues from the Popular Front and the BPP. And now there is no longer a single mechanism to change the law to send released criminals back until one of them is re-convicted by a court for a new crime.
This means that the ruling government purposefully planned and implemented a program for the mass release of criminals accused of violence, which, in principle, is fully consistent with its ideology, style and actions of recent years.”
