The State Duma proposed to abolish IT telephony in Russia
The situation with massive false calls about mining may be repeated during the presidential elections in Russia in the spring of 2018. LDPR deputy Alexander Starovoytov stated this today from the rostrum of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

“What we fear: we have presidential elections ahead. There are about 100 thousand polling stations in the Russian Federation. If now we can’t do anything about the IT telephony through which all these threatening calls are made, then maybe we need to take some radical measures and block this IT telephony,” Starovoitov said.
“They have already seen the evacuation sites of all social facilities. Imagine if these calls were heard in half of the polling stations, and somewhere terrorists managed to disrupt the campaign and force people to go to crowded places. How will this end? – the deputy added.
Last week in Russia, false calls about mining were received in relation to 420 objects. On September 13-14, more than 40 thousand people were evacuated in Moscow because of them.
Well-known pranker Andrei Stolyarov (Lexus) yesterday expressed confidence that the telephone terrorists who previously attacked Moscow are connected with Ukraine.
“I listened to the recording of one of the mining calls. Now there is no doubt - Ukraine, and there are even some guesses - who exactly. But besides this, other countries are also participating in the provocation. The scheme is simple - the bot dials the numbers entered into the database. These are not the SBU, but near-patriotic Svidomites,” Stolyarov wrote on his Facebook.
