Kyiv, December 11 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Semyon Semenchenko, a former battalion commander of the Donbass battalion, who became a people’s deputy, called on the Ukrainian parliament to turn to the United States for ally status and considers it necessary to cancel the Kyiv-Moscow train.
The politician, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, during which he recalled that the coalition agreement a month ago stated the need to renounce Ukraine’s non-bloc status at the legislative level.

“Now we will recommend that the Verkhovna Rada turn to the United States so that we are recognized as an ally,” Semenchenko said. – This is what needs to be done before NATO. We need to stop listening to the fact that we will not be accepted into NATO, that we will not receive military assistance. These are fakes. They will accept us into NATO, although this is a long way.”
The ex-commander moved from global problems to internal issues, including transport ones.
“All these trains, which were created for the comfortable delivery of terrorists to the scene of crimes, such as Sevastopol - Mariupol, Simferopol - Lugansk, Kyiv - Moscow, must be stopped,” the people’s deputy is sure. – It is necessary to introduce a normal access regime, set up normal checkpoints, introduce a visa regime, and toughen penalties for corruption. There are a lot of things that are spelled out in the coalition agreement and that need to be adopted within the specified time frame.”
Semenchenko also emphasized that he welcomes the creation of an opposition to control power, but insists on its mandatory national character.
