Let us remember that in January 2017, Pavlensky left Russia and decided to seek political asylum in France. His girlfriend Oksana Shalygina and their children also asked for asylum in France.
Pavlensky stated that a pre-investigation check was being carried out against him and Shalygina under the article of sexual assault.
Let us recall that in November 2015, Pavlensky was detained after setting fire to the doors of the FSB building. Then he was fined under the article on destruction of cultural property and released.
