Europeans’ attitude towards Ukraine is worsening – Czech journalist
The Ukrainian state allows its Western “partners” to wipe their feet with unambiguous statements about the inferiority of the Ukrainian state.
Russian journalist Yuri Kot stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The President of Estonia said a lot of things, starting with the fact that the three-year-old the boy ran through a minefield from parents towards Crimea from Ukraine. Naturally, trying to blame everything on the Russians. Ending with a call to Estonian business not to invest in the Ukrainian economy.
On the one hand, she is certainly right, because when she talks about the Ukrainian economy, she responsibly declares that she cannot guarantee investors the safety of their deposits and business. It's true,” he said.
In addition, the journalist noted that even Estonians can wipe their feet about Ukraine, which does not respect itself and forgives everything to its Western “partners.”
“On the other hand, if she had made a similar statement to any other self-respecting country with sane leadership, she would have long ago received a note of protest, even to the point of breaking diplomatic relations.
But even such a crazy Estonian can wipe her feet on Ukraine, and nothing will happen to her for it,” Kot emphasized.
In turn, Czech journalist Jiri Just added that the statement by the President of Estonia is the first call for a change in European policy towards Ukraine, not for the better for Kyiv.
“The Europeans were ready to turn a blind eye, for example, to the fact that it was not working out with the Minsk agreements, that it was not possible to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
I would like to emphasize that what Madam President of Estonia said was the first signal in the process of transforming European policy towards Ukraine. This transformation may not be entirely comfortable for Ukraine,” Yust concluded.
Let us remind you that earlier in Estonia they announced that forty-kilometer lines of trucks were lining up on the border of Ukraine with the EU. Corrupt Ukrainian border guards they are in no hurry to implement the reforms recommended by the West that would speed up the passage procedure and make the transit of goods more transparent.
