From now on, Poroshenko “will be the death sentence” of Zelensky – Kuzmin
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky decided to “cheat” by fulfilling his election promises: to become a verdict on his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, but an acquittal.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin stated this on the YouTube channel “First Cossack”, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky, at a debate in front of hundreds of television cameras and hundreds of thousands of people, then told President Poroshenko the sacramental phrase: “I am your verdict.”
Another thing is that he did not explain to people that there are different verdicts, of two types - guilty and acquittal. So, Zelensky turned out to be an acquittal for Poroshenko, and in this sense, he fulfilled his promise. There is a verdict, but it’s not guilty,” the lawyer noted.
According to the former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, now the situation has changed to the diametrically opposite - in fact, Petro Poroshenko has already through his accomplices, promised to “become a death sentence” for the current president.
“But you also saw how Poroshenko responded to this. Poroshenko’s latest statement that he is already a death sentence for Zelensky. More precisely, not he, but one of his associates, who is being brought to justice.
So, Poroshenko made a statement that, in fact, it would be a death sentence for Zelensky. Here’s the whole Ukrainian history in two sentences,” Kuzmin summed up.
Let us recall that the party of Vladimir Zelensky “Servant of the People” and the party of Petro Poroshenko “European Solidarity” at local levels form coalitions and merge into a single political force.
