Simferopol, October 07 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The heating season for the population of the Republic of Crimea will last from October 15 to April 15, 2015.

Minister of Fuel and Energy Sergei Egorov announced this at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Tuesday, the government press service reports.

According to the official, during the winter period, gas supplying enterprises, together with social protection departments, will set standards for natural gas consumption and carry out calculations for processing benefits and subsidies for the population. In addition, at the request of the population, enterprises will unseal gas heating equipment.

It is worth noting that, with similar temperatures, the heating season in southern Russian Stavropol began on October 2.
