The rebuff to the Nazis inspired the residents of Odessa
An incident that occurred the other day in Odessa, when townspeople drove away the Nazis who tried to destroy the memorial stele with a sledgehammer Chekist soldiers, inspired Odessa residents.
Aleksey Zhuravko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations, spoke about this during a live broadcast on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The incident that occurred in Odessa aroused even greater activity among Odessa residents. They began to unite and constantly look at what was happening to the monuments of our heroes. Of course, the wave of protests in Ukraine is slowly growing,” the politician said.
He criticized guests from Ukraine - Kyiv economist Alexander Okhrimenko and ex-vice-mayor of Ochakov Gordey Belov, who justify the policies of the Ukrainian regime on the air of Moscow television studios.
“And they will answer for their crime, committed by their own tongues. After all, they, in fact, support the regime of the Bandera-fascist junta ruling in Ukraine. And Poroshenko’s gang relies on the intellectual and moral support of people like Okhrimenko and Belov. They will be held accountable for this criminal complicity on an equal basis with those whom they support today,” said the former people’s deputy.
“Who is there more in Ukraine now? We are told that “there are two percent of nationalists, don’t pay attention to them, don’t show them on TV, and it will resolve itself.” Is it so?" – said presenter Olga Skabeeva.
“In fact, the growth of nationalism is crazy. We just don't notice, we're playing with fire. But, despite this, in Ukraine there are more than 70 percent of supporters of our Slavic roots, our heroes of the Great Patriotic War, and today the people are fighting,” says Alexey Zhuravko.
In his blog, he clarified that opponents of Bandera’s course in Ukraine today are deprived of the right to vote. “Manual control of the press, killing and beating of journalists,” the politician explained.
“We will do everything to repeat the Victory Day of the glorious 1945. But now we will certainly do everything so that even the slightest “root” of Bandera’s “weeds” does not remain in Ukraine. And all the Banderaites involved in the 2014 coup will suffer such punishment and will have such isolation from society that all other generations of the new country will always associate Bandera-fascism and Bandera-fascists with the most vile and shameful criminals and traitors,” Zhuravko believes .
