This opinion was expressed by former Ukrainian soldier Oksana Kurbatova during a briefing in Kyiv on the topic “The Invisible Battalion”: the first full-length film about the participation of Ukrainian women in the war with Russia.
“When a person returns from the army and registers with the military registration and enlistment office, what do we see? Nothing! You came, gave all your papers and no one else needs them, they say “Goodbye” to you. No one is interested in you anymore. By the way, this affects women much more than men. The latter are at least invited to the training camp and put on at least some kind of record,” commented the former soldier.
