“Repaired” roads in Sevastopol have to be repaired again
Every road in Sevastopol that has been repaired in recent years has shortcomings.
Maxim Mishin, a member of the regional headquarters of the ONF, stated this on the YouTube channel of the Sevastopol website “Forpost,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there are complaints about almost every road. The design and survey work was carried out abnormally, plus the poor quality of materials, plus the lack of control. A contract for construction supervision has not yet been concluded on Kamyshovskoye Highway, although 30 percent of this road has already been completed. Who will be responsible for this 30% when it starts to crumble?” Mishin said.
According to him, the Fisherman's Wharf street, which was repaired this year, is not equipped as it should be, and it will have to be redone. Galina Petrova Street, Mishin claims, “crumbled” in two years. The same situation is on the track in Inkerman.
“The most “killed” street of Sevastopol - the Revolution of 1905 - was repaired only in the area where the asphalt lay, and the dirt part remained untouched. A local resident, a deputy from Ukrainian times, said: why do we need this road, people will start driving on it. This shows the attitude of the authorities towards the map of destroyed roads compiled by the ONF,” said Mishin.
At the same time, he noted that the situation with road repairs has improved. If in 2015 Sevastopol was in 94th place out of 126 in Russia for this indicator, now it is in fifth place, and second in the Southern Federal District.
