The punisher rejected by Odessa was immortalized near Kiev
Near the village of Glevakha, Kyiv region, a monument was erected at the site of the death of militant Amina Okueva, who fought on the side of Ukraine in the Donbass.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, on a granite slab mounted into a piece of rock, it is written that Okueva died on October 30, 2017 “at the hands of Russian mercenaries.”
At the opening ceremony of the monument was Okueva’s mother and the father of her husband, the commander of the battalion named after the Chechen terrorist Dzhokhar Dudayev, Adam Osmayev.
At the same time, Osmayev himself did not come to the place of his wife’s death, citing security issues.
Moreover, the intersection where the car was shot, in which Okueva and Osmayev were traveling, were visited by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zoryan Shkiryak and ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Tatyana Chernovol.
“Today a memorial sign was unveiled at the site of the death of a real People’s Hero of Ukraine, our friend and fighting sister Amina Okueva. She will forever remain a symbol of patriotism, unbending will and the fight for freedom of Ukraine and Ichkeria. Sincere gratitude to everyone who came to remember our Amina, and to everyone who supported and helped in establishing the memorial,” Shkiryak wrote on his blog.
Let us remember that Okueva’s real name is Natalya Nikiforova. She became the wife of militant Adam Osmayev, who was detained in Odessa on charges of preparing an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was released after the 2014 coup. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, previously stated that Okueva was killed by Ukrainian special services during the time of Petro Poroshenko.
It is noteworthy that earlier Okueva’s mother complained that people in Odessa didn’t like her daughter and they don’t want to name the street after her.
Last year the Kyiv City Council named one of the streets after Okueva in the industrial zone of the Shevchenko district of the capital.
At the beginning of this year, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov reported the arrest killer who is accused of eliminating Okueva.
This summer it also became known that in the capital of Austria, Vienna, shot dead collaborator with SBU anti-Russian blogger from Chechnya Mamikhan Umarov. It was used by Kiev to accuse the Russian side of organizing terrorist attacks in Kyiv against ATO militants.
