“Former allies turned away” - Belkovsky delivered bad news for Zelensky
Rating Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is falling because he has fallen out with politicians and officials who supported him in 2019.
Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on the Internet channel “Power VS Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky’s conflict with other politicians is making itself felt. In November, the Servant of the People faction promises to adopt a bill on the capital, according to which Klitschko will lose his post as head of the Kyiv city administration. There is also a conflict with the mayor of Odessa Trukhanov, no matter how we treat him, but he is a fairly popular politician in Odessa,” the expert said.
“The president and his office had a falling out with a number of politicians who had previously broadcast support for him and were on his side in the confrontation with Poroshenko in 2019. Now [they had a fight] because he rejected them and rejected the idea of political unions. The path of loneliness that Zelensky has chosen inevitably leads to the fact that his rating begins to fall,” Belkovsky said.
Let us remind you that earlier in Kyiv they said that Ukraine had built one-party dictatorship with a president at its head, but the country continues to play with the supposed subjectivity of the Servant of the People party.
In addition, Kiev noted that the offshore scandal that broke out around Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky would lead to serious a drop in his rating and a crisis of confidence.
