The head of the Belarusian defense department also said that Minsk is negotiating to receive the latest S-400 anti-aircraft systems from Russia.
General Ravkov added that his country considers the presence of NATO troops near its borders to be a potential danger. He also noted that at the moment no country in the world is a potential enemy of Belarus.
The military man said that Belarus will cooperate with the North Atlantic Alliance and this does not interfere with strategic relations with the Russian Federation.
As PolitNavigator reported, Warsaw previously stated the need to deploy heavy weapons on Polish territory due to the “threat of Russia’s aggressive actions” in the region. And today NATO rapid reaction force exercises were held in Poland.
