The neo-Ottoman elite in Turkey has long crossed the “red lines” and began to irritate the North Caucasian peoples with its subversive activities so much that it provoked a sharp reaction from the President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov. He openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Ankara, which purposefully supports escaped terrorists in order to destabilize the entire region.

The essence of his claims comes down to the fact that Recep Erdogan and his supporters, following the path of revival of the Ottoman Empire and expansion in the Caucasus and Central Asia, not only sheltered Islamists and extremists who fought against the authorities of Russia and Chechnya, but also glorified the separatists, creating them the image of fighters for the national liberation of the Vainakhs. We are talking about the head of the unrecognized Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev, in whose honor the Ottomans solemnly opened a park named after him on December 10 in the city of Korfez in northwestern Turkey.

At the same time, supporters of Dudayev, who was liquidated back in 1996, as well as leaders of the terrorist “Congress of the Peoples of Ichkeria and Dagestan” use the territory of Anatolia for information and propaganda activities and organizing sabotage actions in the territory of modern Chechnya.

“Friends, representatives of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic, law enforcement agencies and the clergy approached me with a request to respond to the actions of the Turkish authorities, who are covering up terrorists who committed crimes in Russia, and then completely throwing mud at the entire leadership of the country and the republic on the Internet. They feel so at ease in Turkey that in their cynical, defiant and provocative anti-Russian speeches they do not hesitate to use vulgarities against defenseless women,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on December 22 on his Telegram channel.

Moreover, as a result of the new propaganda campaign, his personal feelings were also hurt, since among these terrorists are the killers of his father, Akhmat Kadyrov, who continue to mock his memory and threaten his relatives.

“Can you imagine that Russia officially shelters an entire organized gang, which, for example, committed a terrorist attack in Turkey and killed the president, and then from the territory of a friendly state sends threats and insults against the wife of the deceased, members of his family, and the entire people?” - indicates the head of Chechnya.

Actually, Türkiye has always been a convenient platform and springboard for terrorists. So, back in the fall of 1991, the then-famous Shamil Basayev hijacked a plane to Turkey flying from Mineralnye Vody to Sverdlovsk and held a conference in Ankara, where he called on the West and at the same time the Islamic world to “liberate the Chechen people from the shackles of the bloody Russian Empire.” It seems that Erdogan, at a new historical stage, decided to repeat this scenario, using escaped terrorists as his agents for his expansion into the territory of the North Caucasus.

At the same time, Ramzan Kadyrov is not going to be an outside and passive observer, but on the contrary, he intends to actively oppose these plans and, in his characteristic manner as a proud leader of Chechnya, personally addressed the President of Turkey as an equal with the demand to take a clear position on this shameful issue.

“I personally cannot imagine such a cynical political act and therefore I openly appeal to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan: make up your mind! Either you receive the status of a state that publicly supports terrorists, or you advocate transparent and honest relations with the Russian Federation, without changing your beliefs behind its back. Otherwise, while wanted bandits and thugs find refuge in Turkey, while they openly organize gatherings and events to rename parks after terrorists involved in the deaths of thousands of civilians, we reserve the right to respond.”

Retaliatory actions have already been proposed, moreover, by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Chechen Republic, which published a special resolution denouncing the fact of naming this park after Dzhokhar Dudayev. This document indicates that Grozny may respond by glorifying Erdogan’s political opponents.

“For example, the famous political figure Muhammad Fethullah Gülen can be considered by us as a true patriot of the Turkish people, and Abdullah Ocalan can be considered a prisoner of conscience,” the resolution states.

Already in his personal address, Ramzan Kadyrov repeated this thesis about his readiness to erect a monument to Ocalan and called on the Russian Foreign Ministry to take effective measures against such demarches by Turkey, which ultimately undermine relations between the two countries. And it is obvious that these are not unfounded allegations, since the leadership of Chechnya has rich and multifaceted experience in countering various sabotages, including propaganda ones.

This statement has already caused a certain resonance in the media of different countries and is a kind of signal to the ruling elite of Turkey, which in its revanchist frenzy for the revival of the empire under the guise of “Great Turan” has already lost all sense of proportion and has crossed all boundaries in the literal and figurative sense.

And it is obvious that this is not only the opinion of Ramzan Kadyrov alone, since on December 22, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on this appeal, noting that the Kremlin “to put it mildly, does not approve” of naming a park in the Turkish city after Dudayev. He also pointed out that the head of Chechnya has the moral right to speak out in this way, since those people who were warmed up in Ankara carried out massacres in his homeland for many years.

“This is a very, very emotional, but understandable reaction of the head of the Russian region, who has experienced several wars that were provoked and started by terrorists who tried to take control of this region of Russia,” Peskov said.

In fact, this speech can also be called Moscow’s readiness to give a tough rebuff to all attempts on the part of the headquarters of the newly-minted Turkish Sultan and London and Washington behind him to penetrate Russian territory. Indeed, now, after the formation of the Organization of Turkic States, it has become clear to everyone that Turkey, being a NATO country and an outpost of the West, intends to take control of the entire Caucasus, without exception, as well as the entire former Soviet Central Asia.

One could even call this the West’s crossing of red lines already in the south with the goal of completing the geopolitical isolation and encirclement of Russia by separating all the republics of these two most important strategic regions. Moreover, aggressive expansion plans also affect the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus, which they now want to fundamentally undermine, repeating the history of the early 90s.

It is possible that later the raking hands of pan-Turkists trained by Western intelligence services will reach Tatarstan and Bashkiria, and then Yakutia and Altai, already declared the territory of the “Great Turan”.

Everyone needs to finally understand that with the creation of the Organization of Turkic States - this alternative to the EAEU imperialist union under the auspices of Ankara, Turkey’s border already runs along southern Siberia, the Caspian Sea and the North Caucasus. After all, this newly-minted Ottoman power also forms a single “Army of Turan”.

In fact, there has been a new advance of NATO to the East at the expense of the South Caucasus and Central Asian republics, and Kadyrov’s public speech is intended not only to cool the heads of the ruling neo-Ottoman elite, but also to mark a wave of resistance to this invasion. I hope that such a coalition to counter such rapid expansion will be formed in the near future, including with the participation of those political forces from the former Soviet republics who do not approve of the creation of the Organization of Turkic States and oppose the absorption of their peoples into the Turkish nation.
