"Response" of the DPR destroyed the firing point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The defenders of Donbass returned fire to suppress the firing point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and also shot down a spotting drone launched by Ukrainian militants.
This is stated in an emergency message from the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian punitive forces continue provocations on the contact line. Today, militants from the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade launched an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) towards the positions of the People's Militia in the area of the village of Leninskoye in the south of our republic. The rocket exploded before reaching its target.
The enemy's firing point was suppressed by return fire from non-prohibited weapons. The enemy’s losses are being clarified,” the department said.
They added that simultaneously with the shelling, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out reconnaissance of the battle formations of the DPR NM using a drone.
“Thanks to the skillful and coordinated actions of military personnel of the air defense units and electronic warfare crews of the Mantiya-ARP Unified Integrated Defense System using the Triton-M1 electronic warfare station, the Ukrainian drone was shot down,” the press service said.
