Ukrainian citizens who fought back in the Donbass last year will be re-drafted into the army
Ukrainian citizens who fought in the Donbass last year as part of the first wave of mobilization will be re-conscripted into the army. The son of the ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine and AutoMaidan activist Alexey Gritsenko spoke about such an initiative by the head of the Verkhovna Rada parliamentary committee on national security, Sergei Pashinsky, on his social network page.

“There is information that Sergei Pashinsky, as the head of the relevant committee, is preparing a call for the first wave again. Reasons: disruption of mobilization and the need for experienced fighters,” says Gritsenko.
He expresses indignation.
“I would like to remind the “respected” deputy that a huge number of local council deputies have not served in the army. a huge number of businessmen in excellent physical shape, a crazy number of staff and rear officers who can perfectly go to the front lines. Now a huge number of traffic police officers and prosecutors will be released from their positions. People, in principle, have a certain training. Children of deputies and officials of rank 1-2 can join the ranks of the army for a year (not for a month in a volunteer unit, just for the sake of the picture). Otherwise, our country’s leadership singles out 1% of the population on a selective, subjective basis and forces, putting pressure on their conscience or on the Criminal Procedure Code, to go serve, die, be maimed for the 99%,” the Maidan activist laments.
