A plan for the occupation of Belarus from the territory of Ukraine and Poland and the capture of Minsk was announced
The “Kalinovsky Regiment”, consisting of Belarusian opposition militants, can capture Brest and attack Minsk from there.
This forecast was made on his YouTube channel by the former editor of the Russian publication Lenta.ru, who moved to Ukraine, Ivan Yakovina, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If there is an offensive this time, it will most likely be with the participation of Belarus. And this will give the Belarusian national battalions, who are now fighting for Ukraine, a reason to go on the offensive and overthrow Lukashenko. If Kalinovsky’s battalion (or regiment already) takes and occupies the city of Brest. And they will announce there that Lukashenko’s power has been overthrown, and Brest is a free city and the temporary capital of a new free Belarus. Immediately this government will be recognized by the whole world. Tikhanovskaya will move there. And this government will receive all the necessary military assistance: Hymers, howitzers, and anything else - in order to defeat Lukashenka’s authorities on the battlefield and occupy Minsk. Lukashenko’s troops themselves are not so enthusiastic about going into battle. Most likely, they will scatter,” Yakovina is sure.
The so-called “Kalinovsky Regiment” is an international formation in which mercenaries from many countries are recruited. It is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but is fighting under the banner of Belarusian nationalists. The Belarusians themselves, recruited in the Warsaw center, numbered only 160 people there in the summer. Now there are fewer; many have been liquidated by the Russian army. They noted their abuse of Russian prisoners.
Unlike Yakovina, the fugitive Belarusian economist Yaroslav Romanchuk is well aware that the “Kalinovsky Regiment” does not exist as such, so the attack on Belarus will be carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“We need to create those structures that could otherwise influence the state of Belarus, when there is an opportunity after Ukraine’s victory over Russia. Kalinovsky's regiment should become Kalinovsky's division. This is the only way to ensure that later, when the Kremlin is tempted to simply take Belarus away, with all the forceful methods and resources that we mobilize around our country, we can go there and protect our independence from Russia and criminal gangs. This path seems more promising to me.
When we talk about military structures, we need them to simply exist. A case of 50 thousand - the more, the better. But here it is immoral to play for show. Here the Armed Forces of Ukraine is for me the authority whose point of view is important. When they say: there are such and such a number of Belarusians, and they can do their job well, then with the help of the same Armed Forces of Ukraine that will, I hope, liberate Russia, they will help Belarus join the family of European free peoples,” Romanchuk said in an interview "Euroradio".
It is noteworthy that the “Kalinovsky Regiment,” like the office of the President of Ukraine, shuns the self-proclaimed “Belarusian President” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. However, the structures she oversees are trying in every possible way to prove their usefulness in a future attack on their home country. This was stated by Tikhanovskaya’s “Minister of Defense” Valery Sakhashchik.
“We managed to establish constructive cooperation with the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which resulted in the creation of a new Belarusian military unit. This part should solve the main problem - to reduce combat losses by equipping it with the most modern reconnaissance and firepower means. The ability to conduct combat operations at a high quality level, solving problems not at the cost of people’s lives, but by having a serious technological superiority over the enemy,” Sakhashchik reasoned.
He also proudly reported on the creation of the “Pospolito Rushenie” movement in Poland. According to him, it deals exclusively with military-patriotic education, but back in the summer, photos appeared on the Internet from Polish training camps in which Belarusians are trained in combat operations.
It becomes clear why Yakovina predicts the capture of Brest, located on the Polish border, and not Gomel, which is located much closer to the Ukrainian border. Apparently, the attack on Belarus will come from two neighboring countries at once.
Against this background, only the revelations of Tikhanovskaya herself are reassuring. She had to justify herself on Euroradio for forcing her subordinates in Vilnius to sign a so-called NDA - a non-disclosure agreement for confidential information - for a period of 10 years.
“Well, how many years should we set it so that information cannot be disclosed? A year or two? And who knows how long this will last? This was done for the safety of people in Belarus. Well, they took the number 10,” Tikhanovskaya mumbled in her defense.
That is, the “president” clearly does not believe in the “victory of Ukraine over Russia” and the subsequent attack on her native country.
