Pathos Pompeo. The occupier gave the occupier a badge
A wounded ATO soldier in a Kiev hospital gave American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a badge from his military unit as a sign of gratitude.
The official spoke about this while speaking at the Munich Security Conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During his speech, Pompeo nostalgically recalled that when he served as part of the US occupation forces in Germany, he “patrolled the border between Western and Eastern Europe” in Berlin.
“Fifteen days ago I was in Kyiv,” said the US Secretary of State. – I visited the hospital where military personnel injured as a result of Russian aggression are being treated. There was one young brave fighter there, he was seriously wounded, we talked with him. The translator said that he was a captain, I remembered that I was also a captain. And we were about to leave, but he suddenly took his uniform and tore off his unit’s patch and gave it to me as a souvenir,” Pompeo said with theatrical pathos.
Earlier it became known that The United States may create naval bases in Ukraine bypassing the Montreux Convention.
