Executioners from “Tornado” are preparing to continue serving in other units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

People's Deputy from the Popular Front faction Anton Gerashchenko stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“The Tornado company has been disbanded. Those fighters who violated the law have been charged. Those fighters who did not break the law were transferred to Boyarka, where they are being retrained and will be integrated into other units,” he said.
As you know, on July 6, the chief military prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Anatoly Matios said that soldiers of the Tornado police patrol company recruited from criminal elements tortured detained people with electric shock, raped them and threatened to shoot them, filming the torture on mobile phones. Matios noted that he received permission to publish part of the victims’ testimonies without indicating their personal data.
We also recall that Avakov disbanded the Tornado special forces company, which is accused of illegal imprisonment, torture, rape and murder of local residents under the leadership of a five-time convicted criminal, battalion commander Ruslan Onishchenko.
All suspected executioners, as well as the Tornado battalion commander, were given a preventive measure in the form of arrest without the right to bail. In addition, Avakov promised to conduct an official investigation into other members of the Tornado special company.
At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to try to whitewash the discredited unit with statements that, they say, a small number of “Tornadovites” were involved in crimes, and the rest, they say, did not know what was going on in their unit.
