The monument to Mozgovoy in Alchevsk may collapse
The monument to the deceased militia commander Alexei Mozgovoy, erected in Alchevsk, may collapse. This was reported by Yuri Shevchenko, who headed the “Ghost” brigade after Mozgovoy’s death.
According to Shevchenko, the monument “has tilted,” the reason being “a crack in the slab.” A re-examination of the sculpture’s condition will now be carried out.
The monument to Alexey Mozgovoy was erected in May 2016 using donations collected in Russia. The sculpture is not on the city's balance sheet.
Mozgovoy died on May 23, 2015, as a result of an ambush attack on a jeep in which a field commander and his guards were traveling.
As PolitNavigator reported, former head of Ukrainian intelligence Nikolai Malomuzh admitted that “Mozgovoy was removed by our special services.”
