The pandemic has revealed the fragility of the Ukrainian sub-state - expert
The state system of Ukraine is so weak that it stops working under any force majeure, and the pandemic has shown this.
Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst of the alternative expert government, stated this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s not about vaccination. The problem is that the flimsiness of the state system of Ukraine, this very flimsy structure, it gets knocked down by any force majeure. I have always been frightened by any man-made phenomenon that may arise and which the state will not be able to cope with. I couldn’t even think that this could be an epidemic!
The coronavirus has shown very clearly how fragile the system is. Not the medical system, not the health care system - it is simply a consequence of the entire state machine, which is not able to cope with the challenges of today.
Therefore, it’s not the vaccine, not the speed of vaccination, but the fact that living in Ukraine, you cannot be sure or you are not at all sure that the state cares about you,” the expert believes.
