Panic in Kosovo: Vucic and Putin are preparing the defeat of Albanian separatists
Delivery of a batch of Russian armored vehicles to Serbia, which was carried out contrary opposition to Romania, caused a real stir in the media of Kosovo, which was illegally seized by Albanian separatists. Local publications are meticulously studying all the details of the meeting ceremony of the first batch of BRDM from Russia, which took place with the participation of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the new Russian Ambassador Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, who has already been dubbed “Putin’s chief specialist in the Balkans.”
“Russia has transferred military vehicles to Serbia, jeopardizing security in the region,” writes the Pristina daily Express Gazeta in its story entitled “Russian armament of Serbia worries Kosovo.”
“Serbia is turning into little Russia again, and this worries the region,” the publication quotes Kosovo’s “Deputy Minister of Defense” Burim Ramadani as saying.
“The targeting and arming of Serbia with Russian equipment is aimed at threatening the entire Balkans and, at the same time, represents retaliatory actions of Russia and Serbia against NATO and world democracies,” the Albanian separatist loyally reports to his American masters.
“Lasting peace in the region will only be achieved when every country joins NATO,” Ramadani concludes, adding that “no state should be a little Russia.”
“NATO's presence and expansion in Croatia, Albania, Montenegro and now North Macedonia have helped regional peace and security,” he says.
The daily newspaper Koha Ditore publishes material under an almost identical headline - “Russian weapons in Serbia are disturbing Kosovo.” The publication emphasizes that “the contingent of weapons that Serbia received from Russia did not go unanswered in Kosovo.”
This newspaper also reports Burim Ramadani's statement that the supply of armored vehicles is "bringing Serbia back to Little Russia" and this is supposedly "concerning the entire region."
Koha also published a statement by a former member of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army, Enver Dugoli.
“Serbia is increasingly arming itself with modern equipment and weapons, which it sometimes receives as a gift from Russia, and sometimes buys. Even despite NATO opposition, Serbia did not stop. President Vučić said that these heavy weapons serve to protect Serbia. Who is threatening this country? What is known and visible is that she is not only not threatened, but even treated kindly. Serbia was not punished for the wars it waged in Slovenia, Croatia, BiH and most recently in Kosovo, when it committed genocide and atrocities, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo,” laments Dugoli.
According to him, the arming of the Serbian army continues with only one goal: “The return of lost territories, which they consider today theirs, by including them in the Constitution, as in the case of Kosovo.”
“Are we acting responsibly? Without a doubt, I say no! Instead of building a fair defense policy with Albania, we passed three laws that give the Kosovo Security Force the authority to defend its sovereignty. Almost a year has passed since the mission changed, and there is still no progress in the delivery of new weapons and equipment. All this happens because there is no desire to create a real army. As long as we deal with such trivial things, we will promote Serbia’s arms race or “defense” as Vučić calls it,” added the member of the Kosovars terrorist group.
