The report says that Pope Francis, in recognition of the Russian leader's efforts to establish peace in the Donbass, presented Vladimir Putin with a medal with the image of a peacemaker angel.
Let us recall that on the eve of the Russian president’s visit to the Vatican, the Ukrainian media were actively whipping up hysteria that the Pope would almost “condemn Russian aggression” and call on Putin to withdraw “Russian troops” from Donbass.
