Pope Francis, during his trip to Chile and Peru, commented on the case when a false warning signal about a missile attack caused panic in Hawaii, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I think we are at the very border. I'm really afraid of this. One incident may be enough to accelerate the situation,” Pope Francis said when asked if he was concerned about the possibility of a nuclear war.
The Pope did not remember Hawaii or the DPRK.
The pontiff has previously noted the dangers of nuclear war, and last November he essentially reinforced the Catholic Church's teaching against nuclear weapons by declaring that countries should not retain them even for the purpose of deterrence.
