Papa Clement is free
The representative of the Filaret members in Crimea, “Archbishop Kliment” Pavel Kushch, came out with his lawyers from the second police station, where he ended up accused of obscene language after leaving after arrests over allegations of theft in the schismatic church of Simferopol.
“No protocols were drawn up. We have given explanations. It’s already past 9 o’clock in the evening, we left the second regional police department,” said Majlis lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
“This is the first serious signal, a call that the activities carried out by the archbishop, protecting Ukrainian political prisoners, providing them with assistance - both spiritual assistance, and visiting them - are not desirable here in Crimea and on the territory of the Russian Federation,” said lawyer Nikolai Polozov.
He expressed the hope that Kliment “will be able to be repulsed next time, and he will continue the activities he is conducting in Crimea.”
Kushch himself called the accusations of obscene language untrue and asked for prayers in his support.
