NATO parade in Kyiv: History repeats itself, the puppets also rejoiced at the Germans in 1918

The participation of NATO soldiers in the parade along Khreshchatyk, announced on “Independence Day of Ukraine,” is a repetition of the history of the Civil War of 1918, when German troops marched through the center of Kyiv, and local puppets presented them as “guarantors of peace.”

Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov told PolitNavigator about this.

“Well, the passage of NATO military personnel along the main street of Kyiv exactly on Independence Day is a very significant phenomenon. If this happens, it will be the clearest illustration of how dependent Ukraine really is on its Western sponsors and on NATO.

The Germans were happy to hold such parades in Kyiv in the spring of 1918. The puppet Kiev authorities were just as happy then and declared that the brave German warriors were a “guarantee of order and stability.”

Then half a company of German soldiers drove out this government without firing a single shot and installed a puppet even more dependent on the Germans on the throne. This is how it is – the mysterious Ukrainian independence,” Kornilov recalled.
