The parade in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War began in Lugansk.

The solemn event began with the parade of the Military Commandant's Office of the LPR under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Nitishin.

In total, 800 people and about 30 units of military equipment are involved in the parade. Military equipment, as well as participants in the Peace March, which will take place after the parade, will move along Kotsyubynskogo Street from the Puppet Theater.

After the parade and march, mass celebrations will begin on Teatralnaya Square, and at 18.00 there will be a festive concert with the participation of the popular Russian musician Alexei Poddubny (Django) and local groups.

Events on the occasion of Victory Day will end at 21.00 with festive fireworks.
