Ceremonial mirages of the Ukrainian defense industry
On Independence Day, Ukrainian military personnel marched in a parade in Kyiv in uniforms that were never seen again.

This was discussed at the round table held in Kyiv “What if there is a full-scale war tomorrow? Will Ukroboronprom save the country?” said the director of the Alex Medical Group company, Alexander Ivanchuk, answering the question why Ukraine exports Oplot tanks and does not supply them to its troops.
“This question should be asked to the country’s leadership. You and I saw that the president on Independence Day talked about the scale of equipment being supplied to the troops. We talked with the command of the special operations forces. When we watched the delightful parade, we thought that finally the army was provided with all the necessary uniforms. I want to assure you that everything I saw on TV was done in one copy. Nobody knows where this form went. It was beautiful and demonstrative, but nothing was done. And two years have already passed since the start of hostilities,” Ivanchuk complained.
