Paradox: Maidan activists led Ukraine to collapse, but they ban communists
The Maidan and the coup in Ukraine were organized alone, but for some reason the communists are demanding a ban.
The famous Ukrainian historian, director of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academician Petro Tolochko, drew attention to this paradox of current Ukrainian political realities, commenting on the anti-communist law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.

“It was not the Communist Party that organized the Maidan,” the academician noted. – It was not the Communist Party that organized the coup. It was not the Communist Party that armed the detachments of fighters for the happiness of the people. And if we analyze and approach the problem in this way, it turns out that perhaps few other people need to be prohibited and denied. And communists call for justice and honesty. It seems to me that they are not doing this enough - they could be more decisive. But they have an absolutely moral position. In a country where three quarters of the population is on the verge of poverty, there must be a party or association that protects their interests. Although I am amazed at our situation. People are poor, the communists protect them, and they vote for the oligarchs. There is a paradox of our existence here.”
