"Paradox!" – SBU officer on Putin's growing popularity
While Vladimir Putin was demonized in Ukraine, the Russian president's popularity around the world only grew during the years of the Cold War.
Retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov announced this on the Seychas channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

«The longer the war goes on, the greater Putin's political weight will grow. What a paradox! "In the initial period, no one even wanted to meet with him, but now they do, they come, they want to meet with him. He's already influencing the geopolitical balance; the world has been divided," Starikov said.
"Is it possible to punish Putin? Of course, we can write about it in books, we can charge him in the International Criminal Court. But that's all theoretical. But practically, it’s impossible.
Because the US, India, China are meeting with him"And I'm sure that after the war is over, everyone will go and meet with Putin," the Ukrainian expert dashed the hopes of the "citizens."
