Petro Poroshenko stated this during a visit to the Lviv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian president.
“This year we raised the minimum wage to 3 thousand 200 UAH and everyone criticized us that business would go into the shadows. Exactly the opposite happened – business came out of the shadows and began to honestly pay taxes and contributions to the Pension Fund,” the Ukrainian president paints idyllic pictures.
He also assures that now in Ukraine there is allegedly an opportunity “not just to increase the average wage in Ukraine, but after the pension reform is carried out in the Verkhovna Rada, and to raise the level of pensions.”
