Paranoia on the march: the EU suspects that German women in Cologne were raped by Russian and Syrian agents
Russian and Syrian secret services may be encouraging refugees in Germany to carry out organized sexual attacks in Germany to undermine Chancellor Angela Merkel's authority, сообщает the British newspaper Daily Mail, citing the opinion of the expert of the European Council on Foreign Relations Gustav Gressel.

According to the expert, “foreign powers could be secretly conspiring to destabilize Germany before elections next year.” At the same time, Gressel argues that “refugees with connections to the Kremlin and Syrian security services could be mobilized to sway public opinion against the chancellor.”
The publication recalls that at the beginning of 2016, hundreds of cases of sexual harassment and 29 rapes of German women by migrants were reported to Germany.
