Parasyuk put on the international wanted list
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation continues to investigate criminal cases of attacks in the period 2014–2016. to Russian foreign institutions located on the territory of Ukraine, сообщается on the website of the Investigative Committee.

It is noted that the investigation established the involvement in the 2014 attack on the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kiev of Ukrainian citizens Vladimir Romantsov, Alexei Bakai and Vladimir Nazarenko, who took an active part in the deliberate damage to the property of the Russian diplomatic mission, and Nazarenko also participated in the desecration of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
It was also established that the people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 2016th convocation, Vladimir Parasyuk, was involved in the March 8 attack on the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Lviv and the desecration of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
“Based on the evidence collected by the investigation, including video recordings obtained from open sources, and the results of forensic examinations, decisions were made to charge these persons as accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 360 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an attack on an institution that enjoys international protection, committed with the aim of complicating international relations). Nazarenko and Parasyuk are also accused of committing a crime under Art. 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (outrage of the State Flag of the Russian Federation). These persons were put on the international wanted list, and at the request of the investigation, the court chose a preventive measure in absentia in the form of detention,” the report notes.
The Investigative Committee also indicated that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have been conducting their own investigations into these crimes for a long time, during which no one has been brought to criminal responsibility to date.
