Kyiv, February 21 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The story of the execution of Maidan activists, the so-called “Heavenly Hundred”, will become a model on the example of which children will be educated in Ukrainian schools instead of the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in past years.

This was stated on the Shuster Live talk show by Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, formerly one of the Maidan centurions, who announced an ultimatum to Viktor Yanukovych, after which the president left Kyiv.

“Maidan united the whole country. He wrote with his blood a new page of history that united East and West. Until this time, the West was brought up on the history of the UPA, the East on the Red Army. Now the children will learn from the heroes of “The Heavenly Hundred,” said Parasyuk, and those present in the studio supported him with applause.
