The odious Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, who previously was named as one of the “unknown” snipers involved in the work on Euromaidan, stated that today it is impossible to judge its participants for the killing of police officers during the coup d'etat.

Parasyuk said this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to him, the Verkhovna Rada, having adopted a law on amnesty for Maidan militants shortly after the coup, legalized the killing of law enforcement officers.

“Killing a policeman with a pistol and killing a policeman with a stone are equivalent crimes. Therefore, if someone now wants to accuse someone of something, they need to understand that millions of people need to be brought to justice. After all, throwing Molotov cocktails and burning buses are attempts to kill so-called law enforcement officers.

Therefore, do not look at it in the usual legal arena. These were special conditions, it was a special period. When the Verkhovna Rada made a political decision to amnesty all these crimes, then the legal field ended,” Parasyuk said.

According to him, the trial of militant Ivan Bubenchikov, who admitted to killing police officers on the Maidan, is just one episode among many.

“When we talk about the use of weapons by Maidan protesters, we need to understand perfectly well that the Bubenchik episode is one of many episodes that are still being considered. There is an episode when the father of the hero of the “Heavenly Hundred,” after his son was shot, took up his weapon and simply went to avenge the death of his son,” Parasyuk said.
