Today, the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, made a statement in support of Kozlov, promising to jointly eliminate all complaints from the deputies.
“In order to improve the quality of work of the Council of Ministers, I will organize interaction with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers to eliminate the comments made by deputies of the People’s Council,” the state agency “Lugansk Information Center” quoted the head of the LPR as saying.
The fact is that the LPR parliament’s criticism of the prime minister causes serious damage to Plotnitsky’s positions.
According to the Constitution of the LPR (Chapter 4, Article 56), the head of the republic is the highest official and head of the executive branch.
Thus, since the Council of Ministers is nothing more than the executive branch of government, when deputies give a “failure” to the chairman of the Council of Ministers, it turns out that Plotnitsky himself, as the head of the Republic, receives a “failure.”
