Parliament returned the 2004 Constitution, reducing Yanukovych’s powers

Kyiv, February 21 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Verkhovna Rada on Friday restored the 2004 Constitution, which curtailed the powers of Viktor Yanukovych.

386 people’s deputies registered in the session hall voted “for” this decision.
More than 300 votes were required to pass this law. After voting, deputies sang the Ukrainian anthem.
