The ferry with ATMs in Sevastopol still hasn’t started working - they can’t bring money (PHOTO)
Sevastopol, May 17 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – A ferry with ATMs has not yet started operating in Sevastopol, which the authorities proposed to use as a temporary measure to circumvent Western sanctions in the case of Russian banks operating in Crimea.
As the head of the city’s economic block, Elimdar Akhtemov, told Navigator, the delay is due to the fact that they did not have time to deliver the ruble mass to the ATMs.

The start of operation of ATMs was announced last Monday by Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo.
The passenger ferry "Captain-Lieutenant Kazarsky" entered the bay on Tuesday evening. The “pilgrimage” of Sevastopol residents to the ship continued for a whole week, but the “maritime banking center” never began to work, the ramp is still raised.
This morning an inscription made in chalk appeared on board the Kazarsky: “Everyone has gone to the front. The money will be on May 25!”
According to the guides working in Art Bay, this “informational announcement” was made by members of the ship’s crew who were on duty there at night. The city administration promises that the work of the “water bank” will begin earlier than the 25th.
