Savchenko's party was not allowed to open an account
People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko was not allowed to begin the procedure for opening an account for Nadezhda Savchenko's party, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Vera Savchenko, Nadezhda Savchenko’s sister, reported this on her Facebook page.
“I’m now at the pre-trial detention center of the non-existent SBU. We came here with a notary to begin the procedure for opening an account for Nadezhda Savchenko’s party. But we were not given permission to meet with Nadezhda,” Vera said.
“What scares you? That she started taking part in the presidential campaign? Why are you so afraid for us to start this process? We will start it anyway, no matter how much you interfere. You will not trample against the law,” said the sister.
Vera also added that they will continue to demand Nadezhda’s right to open this account and continue her political activities.
Previously, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kiev ordered Nadezhda Savchenko’s defense to familiarize themselves with the available case materials by January 19, 2019.
