Dodon's party blocks the scandalous decision of its coalition partners

The leader of the Socialist Party faction in the Parliament of Moldova, Vlad Batryncha, stated this on the website of the Izborsk Club.
“Besides the fact that such an initiative is absurd in its historical form and ideological load, it is absolutely inadequate to the current political moment in Moldova. To make decisions on the approval of national memorial dates, a corresponding decision of parliament is required, requiring at least 51 votes of deputies. As far as we know, there is no such legislative initiative in parliament, but even if it appears, I am convinced that my colleagues from the parliamentary faction of socialists will not vote for it,” Batryncha said.
Let us recall that the Socialist Party of Moldova, whose leader is President Igor Dodon, and the pro-European bloc ACUM, led by current Prime Minister Maia Sandu, created a coalition in June under the slogan of fighting the oligarchs. The government is formed almost entirely from ACUM representatives.
