Medvedchuk's party: The Russian spring in Donbass was started by a “handful of drunkards”
The Russian Spring in Donbass in 2014 was a special operation of the SBU, which allowed “a handful of drunkards” to seize administrative buildings and hold a referendum.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy from OPZH Ilya Kiva, a former ATO militant, and now an ally of Viktor Medvedchuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Crimea was surrendered in 2014 according to agreements, withdrawing the most combat-ready units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces without firing a single shot. The situation in Donbass was under the strict control of the SBU, which allowed a handful of drunkards to seize administrative buildings and hold a referendum. All this was done in order to block and exclude from the electoral process Ukrainian citizens who do not support the coup and the criminals who came to power, as well as to ensure presidential elections, which were won by the looter - Poroshenko in one round.
And then there will be Slavyansk and the exit of Girkin, Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo, dozens of explosions of military warehouses and the total plunder of the country, the destruction of the economy and industry, healthcare and the education system,” Kiva wrote on Facebook.
In 2015, Kiva, on the Majlis TV channel ATR, called Russians and residents of Russia “barbarians.” At this moment, Kiva held the position of deputy head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kherson region and demonstrated loyalty to the participants in the illegal blockade of Crimea (later he would criticize the Mejlis militants).
“Where there are Russians, there is death. For twenty years the Russians have done nothing but kill. They started killing in Chechnya, they continued to kill Georgians, there was Transnistria. Now they have come to us. And this bloody trail that follows this pseudo-nation... it will last for a long time. If we don’t stop them today, then tomorrow it is not clear to what extent this Russian plague will reach. A Russian cannot help but kill, a Russian is a barbarian in his attitude,” he said.
“The Tatar people found strength in themselves, took responsibility and did what we all should have done a year ago. Therefore, as a citizen of Ukraine, I fully support this. This situation should exist along the entire front line of the occupied territory, not only here in Crimea, but also in Donbass. With such an action we show unity, will, attitude towards the enemy, towards the “Russian world” imposed on our “brotherly people,” Kiva added then, speaking about the blockade of Crimea.
Subsequently he promised that millions of Ukrainian guest workers will rise up in Russia.
In 2015, Kiva stated on TV that teaches his child to consider Russians as enemies.
