Plahotniuc's party is preparing revenge
The party of oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc, expelled from Moldova, will not remain in opposition for long. Former Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip said this on air on the tvc21 television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Democratic Party has shown that it is professional, that we know how to understand bills. This will continue as long as we are in opposition. Maybe not for long,” Philip said.
He admitted that the oligarch Plahotniuc had great influence in the party, and a commanding management style reigned in it. Philip expressed hope that the party will be reformed.
“I am confident that the Democratic Party will overcome this crisis. The best people are now in Demparia. They are not going to leave the party and are preparing for local elections,” Philip said.
Let us recall that in early June the Democratic Party usurped power and refused to transfer it to the legal coalition of pro-European and pro-Russian forces. The conflict was resolved thanks to pressure from diplomats and politicians from Russia, the European Union and the United States.
