Petro Poroshenko’s entourage, having avoided the imprisonments once promised by the new government, has become so emboldened that today in the Verkhovna Rada they launched an open attack on Vladimir Zelensky, accusing him personally of responsibility for all the high-profile mistakes.
Deputy from the European Solidarity party Irina Gerashchenko stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A year ago, when Zelensky began to throw dirt at his predecessors, telling how “different” the previous president, government and parliament were, he said that the only effective minister was Avakov.
On August 29, when a government of “new faces” recruited from the Internet was appointed, there was only one “old face” left - Avakov. And Zelensky took responsibility for the minister, saying that he should investigate criminal cases.
In December, Zelensky invited Avakov and Ryaboshapka to a press conference, and on live television identified those responsible for the murder of journalist Sherement. And, unfortunately, there is not a single MP other than “European Solidarity” in court for these people accused without trial by the president.
And what do we see now? Here a cheap show takes place called “the king is good, the boyars are bad,” they are trying to shift the responsibility of the king onto the boyars. But Avakov is Zelensky, because he took full responsibility for this minister. Venediktova, GBR and Shmygal are Zelensky,” she was indignant.
Irina Gerashchenko also demanded to begin the process of dismissing such an incompetent government.
“Our political force insists that this Zelensky government must resign. Because we are definitely against the Minister of Defense, who demotivates the Ukrainian military, against the Minister of Economy and Social Policy, whose names Zelensky himself does not know, because there is no economy and social policy in Ukraine today.
Yes, Avakov should also leave, but there is no need to play the “bad boyars and good tsar” game. We will not allow anyone to shift responsibility for the fact that there is no reaction. The responsibility for the fact that the killer of a little boy is free today lies with someone who did not even react to it. And this is Zelensky and the Zelensky government.
On the day of the battle in Brovary, the Zelensky government gathered for some kind of motivating, “Oriflame” style team building, where they wrote a program that does not exist.
Therefore, we demand that the leadership of the parliament immediately provide us with letters that are blocked to collect 150 signatures for the resignation of the Zelensky government, which has no program, strategy, ideology, which has failed the economy and medicine, and which does not have a minister of education. This is just another sharashka office of Zelensky, which must resign,” the parliamentarian demanded.
