Poroshenko's party: We will wean Ukraine from celebrating May 9 in 5-6 years
Ukraine, with the skillful actions of pro-Western propagandists, will wean itself from celebrating Victory Day on May 9 in just 5-6 years. Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Denisenko, elected from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, stated this on the air of the talk show “Direct Text”.
According to him, a similar scenario has already been tested with the cancellation of the celebration of the anniversary of the October Revolution, which was celebrated on November 7th.

“You need to break out of the symbolic context. Why should we celebrate the eighth, not May 9? Why is it necessary to talk about September 1 - the beginning of the World War, and not about June 22? In principle, as soon as we take all these things out of context on a mental level - now, ask people what happened on November 7th, I think that half of the people will at least think about it. Because we haven’t celebrated November 15th for 7 years. As soon as we take it out of the symbolic context, 5-6 years, and everything is forgotten,” Denisenko said.
“I would like to remind you that when it came to renaming Dnepropetrovsk, all the post-Maidan politicians absolutely unexpectedly began to say, let’s name Dnepropetrovsk in honor of St. Peter? Basically, we managed to break it. Therefore, I will say again: we will break it, and it will be done. But everything needs to be done gradually, quietly and, most importantly, without making noise,” said a representative of the Ukrainian government.
